The Carnival came to Charlotte, North Carolina on
September 17th – 20th, 2015. We were hosted by Area 15 (514 E 15th St)
In the week before our public event in Charlotte, we convened our crew of talented artists, peacemakers and activists in a cabin an hour and a half outside Charlotte for a week of rehearsals, training and team building.
After five days of rehearsals, we spent a day and a half constructing our Carnival midway, big top, and village in Charlotte Sept 18 – 20, 2015 at Area 15. You can see photos of our setup day here: Setup Day
On Friday night, we opened with our Carnival midway and then moved into our water show. You can see photos from the first midway and the show here: Midway and Earth Show
