Travel Information for the Philadelphia Residency!

We are thrilled that you’ll be joining us this summer in Philadelphia for the wild and wonderful Carnival de Resistance!

Parking in various parts of the city can be tricky, so we recommend that you utilize the city’s robust public transit system whenever possible.

You can find a fully interactive map of the city’s transit system here. Individual rides, daily passes, weekly passes, and monthly passes can all be purchased at the fare kiosks in SEPTA transit stations with a credit or debit card. Detailed information on SEPTA fares can be found here.



The Carnival’s midway and featured productions will be held at:

This location is in center city, and can be easily reached via the 15th Street Station of the Market-Frankford Line (blue), or the City Hall Station of the Broad Street Line (orange).

 



The “Power Toward a Just Future: Parade and Rally” will begin with a 10:45am gathering at:

This location is in center city, and can be easily reached via the 30th Street Station of the Market-Frankford Line (blue).

 

The parade procession will begin at 11:30am, and will culminate with a 12:30pm rally at:

Philadelphia City Hall

This location is also in center city, and can be easily reached via the 15th Street Station of the Market-Frankford Line (blue).

 

 

 



The Carnival’s Eco-Village Tours will be held at:

This location is in the West Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia, where street parking is easier to find. The closest metro station is the York-Dauphin Station of the Market-Frankford Line (blue).
